\Omega_0 from skewness in weak lensing

Abstract:
I present the recent detection of
skewness in the VIRMOS-DESCARTES weak
lensing survey, and its implications
for \Omega_0. We compare data to
simulations, and make forecasts for
future surveys such as CFHTLS, PAST
and LOFAR.
