The Proceedings of the 18th Texas Symposium will be published by World Scientific Press (editors A. Olinto, J. Frieman, and D. Schramm). All plenary and parallel session speakers are asked to contribute a written summary of their talks for the Proceedings. The Deadline for submitting contributions is January 31, 1997. LaTeX macros and instructions are included below.
The preferred method of submitting contributions is e-mail: please send your LaTeX or postscript file to
If you cannot submit a file electronically, please send a properly formatted (see instructions below) hardcopy to:
The page limits are 10 pages for all plenary talks and 3 pages for all parallel session talks. We regret that, due to space limitations, we cannot publish poster contributions.
The format for submitted contributions should conform to the size and style constraints used by World Scientific. We strongly recommend that you download the LaTeX file sprocl.tex and the style file sprocl.sty, and that you use sprocl.tex as a template when creating your own LaTeX file. If you use some other word-processing package, please make sure the final output conforms to the dimensions and style laid out in sprocl.tex and in the instructions file splread.1st. We have also included below the postscript file sprocl.ps generated from sprocl.tex, which explicitly shows the format of the final output.
